Opportunité de découvrir un village typique anglais

Just 15 minutes by train from Cambridge lies a rural life which is uniquely and typically English. Your guide Karen will meet you at the station and take you on a 30 minutes walk along the river Cam (if wet we will go along country lanes) to the historic village of Ickleton, a village of just 700 people which dates back to Saxon times. With a pub, church and village shop, Ickleton is full of ancient cottages and has been nominated one of the best villages to live in England. Included in your tour is a visit to the church (if open) and a traditional cream tea in a quaint 300 year-old thatched cottage before another 20 minutes walk takes you back to Hinxton where if you wish you can enjoy a drink at the local historic inn. You will then be taken back to the station for your return journey to Cambridge. Karen has lived in Ickleton for twelve years and will give you insight into the history and local life, and will try her best to do so in French!
